How it works

Three steps

  1. 1

    Write the brief

Say what you want, or start from one of the quick-start templates. Pick the class so Thoth knows the level and curriculum.

  2. 2

    Thoth builds and checks it

It writes the task, answer key and rubric, then checks them against each other and fixes what doesn’t line up.

  3. 3

    Review and set it

Edit anything, switch on personalised versions if you want them, then print it or assign it.

What you get

What comes out the other end

  • The worksheet

Questions or a task written for your class’s level and subject.

  • Answer key and rubric

So you, or Thoth, can mark it consistently.

  • A version per student

Each student can get the task rewritten for their level. You review every version before release.

  • Quick-start templates

Common assignment types ready to adapt, so you don’t start from a blank page.

  • Cross-subject projects

One assessment that spans two or more of your classes, for interdisciplinary work.

  • Print or assign online

Print the worksheet and answer key, or set it online for students to complete in xedu.

Any curriculum

Works with the course you teach

For MYP classes, tasks and rubrics are built per criterion with sub-strands and 0–8 levels, and ATL skills can be assessed too. PYP tasks use the transdisciplinary themes, subject strands and ATL skills. For DP, IGCSE, British, A-level, American and AP classes, Thoth writes a rubric suited to the task.

Questions

Common questions

Does it make an answer key?

Yes. Every assignment comes with an answer key and a rubric, which Thoth checks against the questions before you see them.

Can I make different versions for different students?

Yes. Switch on personalisation and Thoth rewrites the task for each student’s level. You review the versions, regenerate any single one, and release them when you’re happy.

Can students do it on paper?

Yes. Print the worksheet, or print QR-coded answer sheets so xedu can mark the scanned scripts for you.

Will it mark the answers too?

Thoth can suggest marks and feedback against the rubric, and you confirm each one. See AI grading.
