Practice and study tools

Practice that knows what you need next

Practice comes in short sittings of six questions on the skills from your classes. When you’re stuck, help comes in steps, from a nudge to a full worked example. There are no scores in practice, just a clear picture of what you’ve got and what to do next.

Built for learning, not for a grade

  • Six questions per sitting, focused on a class, a skill, or everything
  • “I’m stuck” gives a hint, then a fuller explanation, then a worked example
  • Skip any question. Nothing is scored.
  • Your teacher sees who’s stuck and on which skill

How it works

Three steps

  1. 1

    Pick a focus

Practice one class, one skill or a mix of everything you’re studying.

  2. 2

    Answer six questions

Ask for help whenever you need it. Each answer is checked straight away.

  3. 3

    See where you are

xedu updates how well you know each skill and points you at what to practice next.

Questions

Common questions

Why are there no scores?

Practice is for learning. xedu tracks which skills you know instead of giving you a mark, and you can skip any question without penalty.

Do I need my school to use xedu?

Practice sittings come from the skills in your classes, so they need your school to be on xedu. The study tools, like flashcards, study plans, revision notes and Thoth, your AI tutor, work on your own.

Can my teacher see my practice?

Your teacher sees which students are stuck and on which skill, so they know who to help. Practice isn’t graded.
