What you get
What comes out the other end
Photos and documents
Attach an image of a question or a document and Thoth works from it.
Up to date
Thoth can search the web when a question needs current information.
Remembers you
It keeps track of what you’ve studied together, so you don’t start from zero every time.
Skill pathways
A guided mode where support fades as you get more confident, so you end up doing it yourself.
Quiz and whiteboard
Quick quizzes to check yourself, and a whiteboard for working through problems and mapping out ideas.
Export your notes
Save a conversation as a PDF or send it to Google Docs.
Any curriculum
Works with the course you teach
Thoth helps with any subject and any curriculum, from PYP projects to A-level, IGCSE, IB DP and AP coursework. When your school uses xedu, it can draw on the materials your teachers have shared with your class.
xedu is not affiliated with or endorsed by the International Baccalaureate, Cambridge, Pearson or the College Board.
Questions
Common questions
Is Thoth free?
You can start free with 50 tokens a month and no card. Paid plans start at $5 a month for more.
Does Thoth just give me the answers?
It’s built to help you understand: it explains in steps and checks you’ve got it. In skill pathways mode it deliberately gives less help as you improve.
Can it read my handwriting or a photo of my textbook?
Yes. Attach a photo or a document and Thoth works from what’s in it.
Do I need my school to use xedu?
No. You can sign up on your own and use Thoth. If your school uses xedu, Thoth can also work from your class materials, and you get practice sittings too.
