What’s built in

How xedu handles your courses

  • Foundation Stage to Year 11

Classes from FS1 and FS2 through Year 11. Plans and tasks are pitched at the year group, with the depth and vocabulary you’d expect for that stage.

  • A-level, Years 12 and 13

A-level classes for Year 12 and Year 13, alongside IGCSE classes if your school runs both. Thoth writes at sixth-form depth for your subject.

  • Report comments

Report cards support British-curriculum grades and comments. Thoth drafts each student’s comment from their grades, and you edit and sign off.

xedu is not affiliated with or endorsed by the International Baccalaureate, Cambridge, Pearson or the College Board.

What isn’t built yet

A-level and GCSE-style grade scales (A*–E and 9–1) aren’t built in yet, so marks are recorded in points. The unit planner is generic rather than tied to the National Curriculum programmes of study, so you name the topic and year and Thoth writes to it.

Questions

Common questions

Does xedu follow the National Curriculum?

The lesson planner plans for the year group and subject you give it, using the terms British schools use. It isn’t linked to the official programmes of study, so you tell it what you’re teaching.

Can we run A-level and IGCSE classes too?

Yes. Each class has its own curriculum, so a school can run British, IGCSE and A-level classes side by side.

Will it write my end-of-term reports?

It drafts each student’s comment from their grades. You read, edit and sign off every one.
